Exciting In-Person Events at Ardsley Library This August!


We are thrilled to announce two fantastic upcoming events at the Ardsley Library this August! Mark your calendars for two Saturdays filled with learning, fun, and new experiences. These events are perfect opportunities for kids to explore new skills, meet friends, and ignite their curiosity.




1. Public Speaking Class - Saturday, August 10th

Do you want to help your child become a confident and compelling speaker? Join us on August 10th for an engaging Public Speaking class designed to boost kids' confidence and communication skills.

  • Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Location: Ardsley Library, Community Room

  • What to Expect:

    • Interactive Activities: Kids will participate in fun and interactive activities that teach the basics of public speaking, such as organizing thoughts, projecting their voice, and using body language effectively.

    • Practice Sessions: Children will get a chance to practice speaking in front of a supportive group, helping them to overcome any fears or shyness.

    • Expert Guidance: Our experienced instructor will provide personalized feedback and tips to help each child improve their speaking skills.

This class is a fantastic way to help your child develop a valuable life skill in a fun and supportive environment.



2. Science Class - Saturday, August 17th

Calling all young scientists! Join us on August 17th for an exciting Science class where kids can dive into the world of experiments and discoveries.

  • Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Location: Ardsley Library, Community Room

  • What to Expect:

    • Hands-On Experiments: Kids will engage in hands-on science experiments that make learning fun and interactive. They will explore various scientific concepts and see them in action.

    • Interactive Learning: The class is designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for science. Through interactive activities, children will learn about the scientific method, hypothesis testing, and more.

    • Fun and Education: This event combines education with entertainment, ensuring that kids not only learn but also enjoy the process.

These events are open to children of all ages and are completely free to attend. We encourage parents to bring their children to both events to take advantage of these wonderful learning opportunities.
